Sukhoi Su-17/22 (swing-wing) series

Last updated on: January 2, 2018

This page is for the later swing-wing Su-17/22 and variants only, the earlier fixed-wing Su-7 has a separate page.

As the Rooskies didn't paint the c/n on their planes in any recognizable way, this page will exclusively be for Warsaw Pact nations and Third World customers. Listed alphabetically by nation, not a perfect system but the best I can do.

This is a never-ending work-in-progress and any help would be appreciated. Information on these planes is rather difficult to locate online and this work will remain incomplete unless you, my readers, can help me out. Please feel free to pass along any information that you might have to me at nmdecke@hotmail.com.

At the end of this page is a list of people who have graciously offered their help. Thank you all very much!

Here goes...
