Pufnstuf (1970)

In 1969 puppeteers Sid and Marty Krofft made television history with "H.R. Pufnstuf," a wild (and wildly popular) psychedelic fantasy about a boy with a talking flute and an island where just about everything is alive. The Beatles adored it, going so far as to request copies from the Krofft brothers for their personal use, and although only 17 episodes were ever made the show played in reruns for 16 years!

The "Pufnstuf" movie was made exclusively for theaters when it became clear a second TV season would be too expensive to produce. Featuring songs by the grammy-winning team of Gimbel & Fox ("Killing Me Softly," "I Got a Name") and a bizarre and baffling cast of unforgettable characters, "Pufnstuf" is a must-see, phantasmagoric chunk of madcap 70's cheese!

KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park (1978)

An extraordinarily rare screening of the film KISS does not want you to see! The mega-band was at the height of their popularity with a slew of multi-platinum albums on the charts when they agreed to appear in this notoriously cheap made-for-TV turkey. Watch spellbound as KISS use their magic talismans to summon secret powers! Thrill at the heart-poundingly evil machinations of a mad scientist and his sinister automatons! Laugh yourself sick as everyone involved embarasses and debases themselves, only to later deny this train wreck ever happened!

27 years after its single TV airing KISS themselves forced an immediate recall of the only DVD release, making this an extremely obscure film that even most devotees of the band have never seen. It's a one-time showing KISS fans and lovers of 70's cheese will not want to miss!

The Disco Godfather (1979)

Legendary comedian and "Godfather of Rap," Rudy Ray Moore ("Dolomite," "The Human Tornado") stars in his final film of the decade he helped define. "The Disco Godfather" is a weird, wild and bewildering enigma: part anti-drug PSA, part Afterschool Special, part kung-fu Blaxsploitation flick and all in-your-face, no-apologies, mutha-lovin', groovy action!

Moore and company bring the copious cray cray with outrageous disco fashions, fabulously cheap dance sequences and one of the most absurdly cheesy drug trips ever comitted to celluloid! This isn't just a film about the 70's, this film is the 70's, so boogie on down and put your weight on it for this one-time-only screening of one of the last true classics of the blaxploitation era!
